Contract Administrator, Procurement & Contracts Services Department, The J. Paul Getty Trust

The J. Paul Getty Trust has the following employment opportunity available: Contract Administrator Requisition: 3051 The J. Paul Getty Trust seeks a Procurement & Contracts Management Professional with a service contract emphasis. The individual will draft and negotiate contracts and amendments on behalf of the organization in compliance with established policies and procedures. Specializes in contracts for independent consultants, performing and visual artists, guest speakers, publications, licensing and collaborative agreements.  Qualifications: Proficiency in standard contract terminology and contract drafting, with an understanding of intellectual property provisions and issues, procurement methodologies, financial analysis and contract evaluations/negotiations essential; ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management; establish and consistently maintain positive and constructive relationships; and possess strong organizational, planning and analytical skills. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree and 2 to 5 years of experience in services contracts and procurement required, as well as strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts at an institution of higher education or museum with knowledge of intellectual property and licensing issues is highly desirable.
