Construction Project Accountant
A multifaceted engineering firm know for its imaginative thinking, high client service levels, and innovation is in need of a Project Accountant to start immediately. This role is responsible for all aspects of project cost accounting including: set-up, maintenance, and monthly review; revenue recognition; maintaining work in process spreadsheets; invoicing an collection interaction with accounting staff; assisting with monthly financial reports. Candidates for this position must have at least 5 years of accounting experience within an Architecture, Engineering, or Building Construction firm with a strong knowledge of construction project cost accounting. Accounting for fixed-price or lump sum projects with account analysis experience is also required. Software will include BST, DelTek, etc, Microsoft Office with very strong Excel skills. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree accounting, finance, or a related field. This is a direct hire position and will pay $65-75k/yr.Please email your resume to psehgal@accountantsinc.com to be considered for this role.
