Deliver value to the assets we support, utilizing Global SAP, best practice/re-engineered processes, and through the recruitment, retention and development of employees committed to customer service.Further information about the BHP Billiton Group can be found at: http://www.bhpbilliton.com.   POSITION SYNOPSIS:Primary focus is to execute financial consolidation functions (including but not limited to running the consolidation tasks, processing consolidation journal entries, and executing consolidation related controls), and provide first-level support to customers on the consolidations system and process.  RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate Consolidation functions for Actual, Budget, and Forecast versions on all hierarchies, in USD and AUD currencies in accordance with Group Management Reporting, Group External Reporting and Group Tax time lines. Review and process consolidation journal entries. Operate controls aimed at ensuring integrity of consolidation journals are maintained. Provide first-level support to end-users on consolidation system and processes, including 24/7 support during critical periods through utilization of regional support structure. Escalation of issues to Group Accounting Consolidations team (2nd-level support) or IT service provider (3rd-level support) as appropriate. Oversight of source ledger control operation, including the inter-company matching process, and pre-consolidation validation checks. Involved in testing of master data changes (Type A & B) and other system configuration changes. QUALIFICATIONS: Accounting degree CPA certification a plus At least 3 years post grad accounting experience SAP Finance SAP SEM-BCS / Business Warehouse (Desirable) Excellent spreadsheet skills Competent in the use of Power Point and Word M/F/D/V EEO/AA Employer Local terms & conditions apply THINK OF THE OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN BHP BILLITON.
