This newly created position will be responsible for helping to support and strengthen communications related to the Human Capital (HC) organization. As a key member of the marketing and communications team, you will work closely with Marketing and Communications leadership, and directly with the firm's Human Capital partner and other leaders within the HC organization. You will help ensure all HC-related internal and external communications are aligned with the goals and messages of the firm, and support communications processes and best practices. Responsibilities:' Assist in development of strategic communications plans for HC organization' Provide communications support for HC, including writing, editing and producing a wide range of communications related to benefits, policies, performance management, compensation, new programs, training and development, recruiting, and other HR-related communications' Help ensure messages at the firmwide level are clear, consistent and timely ' Manage development of newsletters including the HC quarterly newsletter; write and edit articles as needed' Support communications related to talent acquisition at all levels' Contribute HC news items, announcements and stories to firmwide news calendar; work to identify future opportunities ' Contribute HC-related content for intranet news page; Create and manage HC-related content for firm's intranet' Help strengthen firmwide internal communications network by involving and obtaining support from HC professionals throughout the firm ' Assist with Pulse Survey and other HC-related measurement tools' Help promote communications processes and best practices throughout the organization ' Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to clarify and simplify information as well as vary style and tone depending on vehicle, author and audience' Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to work quality' Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently' Thorough command of best practices in internal communications' Ability to work both strategically and tactically ' Experience with a wide range of traditional and electronic media and communications vehicles; intranet and content management systems experience a plus ' Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills' Minimum of five years strategic communications experience in a corporate or agency setting; professional services experience preferred' Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related area Company: BDO Seidman, LLP Location: Charlotte, NC 28203 Job Category: Marketing/Product Industry: Accounting and Auditing Services Occupation: Marketing Communications Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Company: BDO Seidman, LLP Reference Code: bdo-00000527 Please note that only those individuals whose qualifications match our current needs will be considered applicants and will receive responses from BDO.
