Commodities Valuations / Price Testing
Within a small team, provide complex trade pricing and valuation review within a major investment bank
Responsibilities:
· Analysis of complex trades and valuation of exotic commodity products
· Price testing of commodity portfolios covering all individual asset classes (crude oil, Distillates, Power, Natural Gas, NGLs) as well as hybrid derivatives.
· Development of pricing procedures
· Providing detailed product expertise to the organization
· Complex new product / new model review
· Risk and Price testing completeness
· Heavy interaction with senior level management in Trading, Structuring, Risk, and Finance
Requirements:
· 5+ years experience within Risk Management, Valuation or Control
· Significant experience of exotic derivative pricing methodologies
· Experience with commodity products including crude, refined products, NGL’s, timber, electricity. Exposure to physical a must.
· Excellent IT skills (Excel, VB/C++)
· Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering
· Articulate verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple strategic projects
