Responsibilities include: Preparation of half year and annual financial statements in accordance with the applicable Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles (GAAP) Preparation of financial statements’ supporting documentation Liaising with other colleagues, clients and auditors dealing with audit and accounting queries that may ariseSkills and knowledge desired: Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related discipline CPA is a strong plus Minimum 2 years tangible experience in accounting, especially in financial statement preparation A strong understanding of accounting techniques Financial services experience is a strong plus Knowledge of Investment Management and Hedge Funds desirable Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)and GAAP (Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles) required Good numerical, analytical & problem solving skills Ability to perform under pressure and to plan and prioritize own work and that of others to meet required deadlines Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing in a global environment Commitment to delivering first class client service Strong level of MS Excel  All applicants MUST be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents or have some other authorization that does not require employer-specific sponsorship.
