Cash Analyst (Reg-Lim)

Warner Bros. Studio Facilities is a complete production resource with over thirty different production services and rental departments – all integral components of the historic 110-acre Warner Bros. Studios lot and the adjacent 32-acre Ranch facility.   Our production-related services include; sound stages, exterior sets, construction services, grip, set-lighting, property, costumes, production catering, extensive audio post facilities, as well as, many support services that keep the Studio running on a day-to-day basis.

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The main responsibility of the Cash Analyst position is to manage the New Line Cinema Corporation (NLCC) intercompany activity with other New Line Cinema and Time Warner divisions, including an analysis of the cashflow impact to the Direct and Indirect Cashflow statements.  The position is also responsible for data integrity, system access control administration, fringe accounting and analysis for New Line International Releasing and New Line Productions, Inc., and reconcile various Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.  Position will assist in the monthly and quarterly accounting close functions; oversee bank reconciliations, related journal entries, unclaimed checks and stop payment controls; and prepare, report and/or adjust Warner Bros., Time Warner, and sister company Intercompany activity for NLCC, including corporate aircraft activity.  The position will also assist in the monthly and quarterly financial budgeting and forecasting process as it relates to cash activity and various Balance Sheet accounts.

 

 

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience. CPA and/or MBA a plus.  Minimum two to three years relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance.  Public Accounting and experience in a large, dynamic corporate environment preferred.  Must have experience in month-, quarter- and year end close processes. Experience in budgeting, general accounting, and financial analysis for cash activity a plus.  Industry experience in entertainment preferred.  Excellent verbal & written communication skills essential.  Proficiency with MS Word  and Excel required. Knowledge of SAP, Business Warehouse and various mainframe systems a plus.  Must be able to produce high quality, accurate work in a timely manner. Must be a self-starter and independent thinker. Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities with a professional attitude and to deliver professional results. Ability to interact successfully with all levels of staff, management and customers. Must be able to work independently while understanding when to provide updates, follow up, and seek guidance from management. Must be proficient with financial concepts.
