Supervise Custody Fiduciary Compliance Administrators to ensure customer due diligence is conducted according to policy and that accounts are opened in a timely manner.
 
Serve as Committee Secretary for the Custody Services Administrative Committee (CSAC) meetings.
 
Major Responsibilities
Open New Custody Services Accounts and Due Diligence on Review of Existing and New Accounts
Analyze account documentation to determine the due diligence requirements based on the customer type and determine if the information provided for the account is correct, complete, and in accordance with various written Bank, division and department policies and procedures. Work closely with Relationship Manager or their designee to identify and obtain all required documents and information. 
 
Assign new accounts to a Custody Fiduciary Compliance Administrator for completion of due diligence and account opening.  Track completion times for due diligence and account opening process.
 
Perform compliance risk analysis and assist staff as needed in performing the appropriate level of background checks and Know Your Customer (KYC) profiles as required by the customer type and/or account characteristics.  Analyze background and identification documents to identify unusual or exceptional situations requiring escalation to Compliance and business line management. 
 
Prepare Know Your Customer (KYC) file documentation for management review and approval; review files containing KYC and Customer Identification Program (CIP) account documentation and due diligence; ensure new accounts are set up in accordance with department and Bank policies.
 
Serve as CSAC Committee Secretary for monthly Custody Services Administrative Committee (CSAC) meetings and other Fiduciary Compliance initiatives. 
Serve as CSAC Committee Secretary, including preparing agenda and other meeting materials and composing meeting minutes by the deadlines established by the Chair, scheduling the monthly meeting and reserving the meeting location, and maintaining committee materials in an organized manner. 
 
Provide information to Custody Services and Institutional Services management.
Assist Custody Fiduciary Compliance Coordinator in gathering information requested by auditors and regulators.
 
Complete special projects, as assigned.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills  to be able to understand and communicate requirements for complex customer relationships to Relationship Managers and other administrative staff in order to open new accounts or to mitigate shortcomings noted in account documentation or due diligence. 
 
Strong analytical skills to interpret and execute requests from other staff within Bank?s compliance goals and objectives.
 
Experience with the Bank Secrecy Act, Customer Information Program and Anti-money Laundering regulations.
 
Must be flexible and able to work under strict time deadlines and be able to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
 
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and trust computer systems, including spreadsheet protocols and Access database. Ability to design queries and reports in Access is a plus.  Individual must be able to type quickly with a high degree of accuracy and must have the ability to answer questions in writing in a logical and specific manner."
