CREDIT MANAGER

Colorado Machinery LLC, is the leading dealer of John Deere, Bobcat and Ingersoll-Rand products in the Rocky Mountain region.  Due to our growth, we are seeking an CREDIT MANAGER to support our centralized corporate function located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

 

This position is responsible for managing the credit and collection functions and providing support to operating departments.  It helps Colorado Machinery succeed by providing customers with quick, fair credit decisions and managing Colorado Machinery credit exposure.  Colorado Machinery holds a position of leadership in the industry because of our dedication to maintaining the fundamental principles of fairness, honesty and integrity, which are at the heart of the Company’s values and standards.  Living these values and standards is a responsibility that falls to the entire company and forms the basis for all of our relationships with co-workers, customers, suppliers and competitors.

 

Task/Duties:Process credit applicationsApprove or deny credit and set credit limits Send notification of approval or denial to customer and sales departmentMaintain existing credit recordsMonitor tax codes and tax exemption certificates.  Monitor COD accounts.  Provide credit references to outside partiesPerform early stage collection actionMake service-oriented collection callsAnswer questions and provide copies of invoices and other documentsCoordinate accounts receivable reconciliations with Accounting.  Coordinate resolution of billing disputes with other departmentsPerform late stage collection actionMake collections-oriented collection callsCommunicate collections expectations to customersDirect collection action with collection agencies and attorneysSet up and administer notes receivableAttend sales meetings and maintain a good working relationship with sales.  Develop a good working relationship with customers and general contractors.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentParalegal experience helpful but not required 3-5 years relevant experienceStrong typing skillsStrong communication skillsBusiness casual dress

The candidate must successfully complete a full background investigation to include a
