CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE

We are currently looking for a Corporate Development Associate who will perform research, financial and operational analysis to support corporate objectives and long-range plans in order to achieve growth and financial profitability through acquisitions, mergers, and internal expansion in the U.S. as well as internationally.  The candidate will work closely with the CEO.

Responsibilities:

· Evaluate and analyze acquisition opportunities, business initiatives and market trends.

·  Provide custom research on legislative or regulatory news relevant to the company's lines of business Preparation of ad hoc analysis – e.g. pricing comparisons, business unit financial performance comparisons, financial models relating to new business opportunities and other projects as needed

Qualifications

· B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.

· 2-3 years experience in Financial Analysis/Research

· Investment banking or consulting firm background preferred

· Advanced proficiency in Excel, with intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.

·  Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner to others in the organization.

· Ability to travel on short notice.

· Must be able to work under pressure and against deadlines

· Strong communication and organizational skills.

· Self-starter with strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
