Business Finance Analyst

BlackRock's infrastructure groups encompass a myriad of essential corporate functions that support every BlackRock employee and client, and every aspect of the firm's business.



The Finance team is responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, measurement and control of the financial resources of BlackRock and its subsidiaries. The Finance Group is comprised of four units: Accounting Policy and Controls, Treasury, Business Finance and Corporate Controllers. General functions for the Business Finance group include providing the business lines with financial support, planning, forecasting and management reporting.



Role Description:

We are in the market for a finance professional with 2 ?“ 5 years of strong finance background that possesses excellent financial analysis and modeling experience. This person must have exceptional Excel skills to succeed in this role.



Responsibilities:

The Business Finance Analyst will be responsible for:

* Assist in the production and coordination of the monthly corporate forecast process.

* Analyze and reconcile data as part of an oversight role to make sure forecast workstreams are running smoothly.

* Support the CFO in analyses relevant in making strategic decisions on the future of the company.

* Create and maintain financial databases on peers and the boarder asset management industry as part of a competitive analysis initiative.

* Assist with the creation and maintenance of PowerPoint presentations.



Skills & Qualifications:

* BS/BA Accounting/Finance or Equivalent

* Experience with modeling and reading financial statements is mandatory

* 2 - 5 years of experience in a financial services organization

* Exceptional Excel skills required
