Business Analyst
Responsible for daily pricing worksheets, preparation of numerous performance analysis reports, special projects; and preparation of monthly financial reporting packages in support of performance analysis and business development activities. Prepare monthly performance operating statistical reports. Retrieve and sort data from private and public databases to appropriately reflect the performance of the business. Computes values based on daily market values and contractual differentials. Identify unusual data relationships and follow up on any unusual variances. Participate in performance and business development projects by providing analytical support. Responsible for control functions regarding the accuracy of various contract prices. Coordinates and/or supports various commercial activities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree - Economics, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent related work experience. Equivalent related work experience is 5+ years of experience in performance analysis, preferably related to oil and gas trading. Strong analytical skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft spreadsheet and database applications. . Requires knowledge of all types of oil pricing and various market factors.
