Bookkeeper / Secretary
Small family run investment business is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper/Secretary.
Qualifications: High School Diploma with several years experience or Associates Degree with a minimum of two years bookkeeping experience. Proficient use with a personal computer, and the ability to use various software systems including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of basic accounting procedures. Basic understanding of accounting procedures relating to securities. Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Dependability and the ability to work well independently are essential. Firm grasp of basic grammar, organization of text, and formal writing techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities: Maintaining accurate books for all accounts. Timely accurate preparation of all checks and correspondences. Basic filing of various documents. Scheduling of appointments. Management of supplies.
