Bookkeeper/ Accountant
We are a very busy Professional Accounting Firm looking for an exceptional person to join our staff! Duties include working with quick books accounting and having the potential to advance into audit and tax work for our clients. Need  to be able to type documents into Microsoft Word and Excel. (Must be able to type at 50 words per minute minimum.) Â
Job requires some previous knowledge of Bookkeeping and Accounting.  We will train you every step of the way for more detailed work.  Person hired must have the potential to learn to perform monthly accounting functions such as bank reconciliations,  preparing sales and payroll tax returns. Must be able to work with our staff and client representatives.
Current knowledge of Quick Books and Microsoft word and Excel is a real plus!Â
Once you have been with us for the qualifying time,  you will be eligible  for our Health Insurance and Retirement Plan.Â
Speaking great English is necessary for answering the phones and talking with clients. Office is a non smoking facility.
We work hard but, only from 8:30- 5:30 with 1 hour for lunch. (No need to work overtime!)Â
We believe in promoting from within and after 1 year, we would start paying for Accounting classes if you have an interest in furthering your education. If you are currently taking college classes or need some special considerations to pick up your child from daycare, we can work around your need to leave early to go to class or pick your child up.
