As one of the largest public accounting firms in the world, my client is looking for exceptional candidates to provide tax compliance and consultative services to a diverse client base. A sampling of client industries includes financial services institutions (investment banks, hedge funds, and private equity firms), technology companies, healthcare, manufacturing, among others. Responsibilities for these positions will include: Manage multiple and challenging tax engagements. Deliver innovative tax planning ideas to diverse clients. Demonstrate an understanding of complex tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations. Develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services to clients. Be a proactive resource in regards to challenges that the client may face.Who we're looking forSuggested requirements are: Tax Managers will have a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification and a minimum of 5 years of tax experience, some being within a public accounting environment. Tax Senior Associates will have a CPA or in the process of pursing the CPA in addition to a minimum of 3 years of tax experience, a portion being within a public accounting firm. Knowledge of Partnership, Individual, S-Corp and/or C-Corp tax return preparation. Experience having worked with State and Local Tax (SALT), Federal Tax, and/or Multi-State Tax is desirable. A Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in accounting. A MST (Master of Science in Taxation) is not required but encouraged. Experience leading a team and directing staff. The drive to excel within a public accounting environment surrounded with high caliber professionals.
