Bi-Lingual Senior Auditor

Job Category:  AAccounting/Finance/Insurance Type:  Full Time, Employee Minimum Education:  Bachelor's Degree Bi-Lingual Senior Internal Auditor A large, publicly-traded firm is looking for a Spanish speaking Bi-Lingual Senior Internal Auditor to join its office in the northern Chicago suburbs. Competitive salary, excellent benefits, and tuition reimbursement combine to make this an outstanding opportunity.  Â·  The Senior Internal Auditor will be responsible for planning and performing internal audits and special projects of both a financial and operational nature over Latin America. ·  Primary duties will include the following over Latin America: ·  Reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls ·  Reviewing entities/affiliates for compliance with US GAAP, as well as corporate policies and procedures·  Planning and executing financial and process audits of various company entities ·  Preparing/Reviewing workpapers to adequately document audit work performed and to support conclusions reached ·  Identify and formulate recommendations based on audit findings for presentation to management ·  Training, supervision, and development of Staff Auditors (Analysts) ·  Report Writing Requirements·  Bachelor's degree in Accounting ·  5+ years experience in internal or external audit (Big 5 preferred) ·  Strong working knowledge of GAAP and auditing techniques ·  Proven ability to supervise staff auditors ·  CPA/ MBA preferred ·  Highly motivated, with excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills ·  Strong PC and software skills (MS Office) ·  Ability to work independently as well as part of a team ·  CPA or CIA certification a plus ·  Bilingual skills required ·  Willingness and ability to travel internationally to Latin AmericaContact UsManagement Recruiters of Elgin, Inc., Inc. 472 N.
