About the Position:
We are seeking an Audit Staff Accountant and an experienced Audit Senior to join our team.

The Audit Staff will have 1+ years accounting experience and will participate in audit and review engagements; help organize, conduct, and evaluate the fieldwork as requested; and enhance client relationships.

The Audit Senior will have 3+ years experience in public accounting and will participate in audits and related engagements under general direction; assumes responsibility for directing daily progress of field work; has more clients assigned on a continuing basis and more direct working relationships with higher level executives.

Successful candidates must have a Bachelor's degree. Master's Degree in Accounting desired; CPA licensure is preferred for Audit Senior position. Experience with Prosystems Engagement is a plus. All candidates should be focused on client service, have excellent verbal/written communication skills, analytical ability, and interest in career advancement.

Responsibilities include:

1. Applies the theory and principles of accounting, the objectives, standards, and procedures of auditing to client situations.
2. Applies understanding of client's systems and procedures, overall business operations, and industries to our roles as professional accountants and consultants.
3. Meets the profession's and the firm's standards of technical quality established in AICPA and FASB pronouncements and the firm's technical procedures; keeps informed of current technical developments and pending matters important to our profession and clients.
4. Plans engagements, including preparation of time budgets, audit/review programs and planning memos, analytically reviews interim client financial statements and determines audit materiality. (Audit Senior)
5. Prepares financial statements, management letters, and other communications; reviews working papers of accountants assigned to him/her in preparation of detailed review. (Audit Senior)
6. Communicates clearly through working paper schedules and produces neat and organized work papers to aid in the review process.
7. Performs audit procedures to support our accountants' report on client financial statements - documents and tests internal control structures and determines the reasonableness of recorded assets, liabilities, and results of operations.
8. Performs review engagements including analytical review, inquiries, and preparation of necessary adjustments to client statements. Prepares reports and related disclosures.
 
Location:
This position is based in Atlanta, GA.
