Kaufman & Kabani is a full service CPA firm located in downtown Los Angeles. Due to the rapid growth of our firm, we have multiple positions available in our audit and tax departments, which offer excellent opportunities for individuals who are motivated and strive for success.

The firm primarily serves middle market business in manufacturing, distribution, retail, services, real estate and not-for profit industries.  The firm's areas of expertise include financial statements audits and reviews, attestation services, retirement plan audits, tax planning and compliance, IRS representation, estate, retirement and succession planning, business consulting, projections and valuations, cash flow and budgeting analysis, start-up entities, Quick Books implementation and consulting, internal control analysis and litigation support.

Responsibilities

You can choose to apply for a position either in our audit or tax departments or both.

Audit responsibilities include independently handling/managing audit and review assignments and performing/directing special projects (systems implementation, internal audit etc.)

Tax responsibilities include independently performing / supervising tax compliance work for large corporations, partnerships and fiduciaries in a multi-state environment and tax research and planning assignments.

Positions in both departments will require pro-actively maintaining contact with the clients and using technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.

Required Background

Ideal candidates will have a CPA license with a minimum of 5 years experience either with a CPA firm or in the accounting department of a large company. Project management skills together with advanced writing and communication skills and a dedication to teamwork and leadership are essential for these positions.
