Job responsibilities include: Supervising multiple engagements and staff at various levels Providing appropriate and timely feedback to those supervised Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations Recognizing and informing senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the Firm's standards and policies Ensuring professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate Opportunities exist working with all commercial industry sectors.Who we're looking for 3+ years experience working in a public accounting environment Solid understanding of audit and attest services. General knowledge of FASB regulations, GAAP, and GAAS Certified Public Accountant, CPA, certification or currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field Ability to travel locally, as needed - 5% Experience with a national or large regional accounting firm is a plus.About our clientMcGladrey & Pullen, LLP, is a leading national CPA firm focused on meeting the audit and accounting needs of mid-sized companies.
