Audit Supervisor - Government/Non-Profit

Our Blue Bell, PA office currently seeks an Audit Supervisor with Government and Non-profit client experience to join and grow with our ever-expanding team and clients!

Job Responsibilities:

As part of the audit team, the Audit Supervisor will be responsible for:
-Supervising multiple engagements and staff at various skill levels.
-Providing appropriate and timely performance feedback to those supervised.
-Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients.
-Monitoring and reporting the productivity of staff and adhering to work plan schedules on each assignment.
-Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations.
-Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise.
-Recognizing and informing senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients.
-Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP, GAAS and the Firm's standards and policies.
-Ensuring professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate.

Qualifications:

-Minimum of four years recent experience working in a public accounting environment. Experience with a national public accounting or large regional accounting firm preferred.
-Solid understanding of audit and attest services.
-A successful record of directing and deploying staff and senior associates on multiple, simultaneous engagements.
-CPA certification required.
-A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
-A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships.
-Recent audit exposure and working knowledge of GASB 34.
-Solid understanding of audit and attest services with knowledge of FASB and GASB regulations, GAAS, and GAAP.
-A successful record of attracting, hiring, retaining, and managing an audit team.
-Experience in communicating with clients senior management.
-Technically proficient in audit and accounting.
-Ability to work within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction.
-Practice development experience.
-People development experience.
-Ability to travel on a limited basis.

-Must possess the ability to coach and develop staff.
