Within our Assurance Practice, we are actively accepting resumes of candidates with experience working with clients on a variety of compliance areas and recommending opportunities for improvement in controls. Client exposure in dealerships, education (higher ed and K-12), financial institutions, governmental, healthcare and human services, manufacturing and distribution, real estate and construction, and/or service related industries are ideal for the types of clients we service. As an Audit In-charge (Senior), you will apply your understanding of audit theories and procedures on client engagements, identify and resolve client issues, assist managers in developing ideas to help clients with operational and control opportunities, as well assisting with staff development through reviewing staff work, offering constructive feedback and identifying areas of development. Project management responsibilities include managing time in relation to the engagement budget, as well as identifying new or expanded business opportunities.

Qualifications:Bachelors degree in accounting or related course study CPA or CPA eligible 2+ years of recent audit experience in public accounting Experience supervising staff on engagements Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team Demonstrated problem solving and project management skillsAs an Audit Manager, you will lead a team of professionals to work through difficult audit and accounting issues without compromising the clients’ relationship. You will participate in the formal proposal process, maintain control over all aspects of the engagement including budget, product review, and staff development. You will also establish a formal practice development plan, including a network of potential business development contacts and sources.

Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting or related course study CPA required 5+ years of recent audit experience in public accounting or consulting Experience motivating, leading, coaching and developing staff Ability to organize work effectively and meet deadlines Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Prior business development experience strongly preferred Prior tax experience strongly preferred
