Audit Manager in Charlotte, NCMy client, a large Public Accounting Firm located in central South Carolina is seeking an Audit Manager to manage large audit team.  They rank among the top 10 Accounting Firms nationwide and offer a great work/life balance.  This is not your typical Public Accounting Firm!Position Responsibilities: ·  Work and communicate effectively with staff and clients to enhance their understanding of business and tax issues·  This position is responsible for identifying issues and recommending creative solutions to complex client issues.  ·  Direct and control engagement planning process to successful completion·  Participate in billing and collection process·  Pursue opportunities to provide additional services; pursue leads and retain clients·  Develop and maintain strong business relationships with individual clients and appropriate financial officers·  Coach and develop staff’s understanding of our business and general business world·  Instruct and facilitate both internal and external training Position Requirements: ·  5+ years of recent public accounting experience in Audit·  CPA Certification·  High Level technical proficiency·  High Level of expertise in one or more specialized industry groups, but stiall able to perform effectively in many areas·  Strong oral and written communication skills·  Excellent leadership ability·  Experience in hiring, developing and leading a team of professional auditors  Please forward resume and salary requirements to Amanda Wiseman with The Wilmington Group at amanda@wilmingtongroup.com .
