San Diego based manufacturing company is experiencing rapid growth. Due to the company expanding, they are looking to hire an Asst. Controller, a newly created position.  This is a $75M company and continuing to grow - great opportunity if you like to roll up your sleeves and enjoy being hands on.Â
Company believes in having fun while you work so there various perks team building activities to keep their employees motivated.
Ideal candidate is a CPA with a minimum of two years experience working in public accounting. Experience in a manufacturing and/or R&D environment is desired.
Duties Day to day operations of the accounting Monthly and year-end financial reporting Accounting for inventory and the company's standard costing system Preparation of schedules for the annual financial audit Development and enforcement of the company's internal controls Maintain financial policies and procedures and interpretation of financial policies and accounting theory Manager a team of 4
