Associate Accountant – Finance

 

Position Summary:

 

Due to continued growth, this company has an exceptional opportunity to join their Finance team.  This position will support the Finance function including general ledger analysis and other finance functions.

 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Primary responsibilities include (not all-inclusive):

· Month-end close activities

· Perform reconciliations on select balance sheet accounts

· Schedules and analysis as requested by Finance Managers

· Financial analysis

· Preparation of financial statements and related schedules

 

2. Provide guidance and support to leaders and managers regarding finance matters in order to support the department objectives and growth and appropriately link to finance functions.

 

3. Support and enhance the department and company operations by acquiring knowledge, identifying opportunities for improvement and enthusiastically participating in projects and operations; as well as complying with all company standards.

 

The most qualified candidates will have:

· An Associate or Bachelor degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of three years experience in accounting

· The Ability to work independently, prioritize, pay attention to details, maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional client service

· Ethical knowledge and commitment, sense of urgency and commitment to the timely completion and quality of projects are essential

· Demonstrated effective oral, written and interpersonal skills, strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and computer skills.
