Assistant Vice President of Finance

Occupation: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Position Overview The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Finance is a new position that reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The AVP of Finance is responsible for the creation and deployment of capital, tax exempt financing, contract negotiation and management, cost reporting, physician practice evaluation and compensation, and equity financing. Qualified candidates will be analytical, highly motivated and ambitious financial professionals who possess a strong accounting background with familiarity of regulatory compliance, joint ventures, physician compensation and productivity, and the capability as a strategic thinker to function at the operational level. Hospital Overview This rapidly growing hospital is owned and operated by the Evangelical Covenant Church. This is a not-for profit, mission driven, faith based hospital with a 221-bed acute-care hospital, a 145-bed skilled nursing facility, and a 49- bed assisted living facility including home health, hospice, real estate, and an operating joint venture.
