Position Responsibilities WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU - EXPECTATIONS:

• Successful completion of our Store of Learning Program

• Effectively lead, coach and develop a team of up to 40 people, or more

• Manage P&L, execute operations and merchandising standards of excellence in up to 8 departments

• Execute merchandising programs to meet schedule and standards of excellence

• Work in a team environment involving customers and employees to continually improve the way we do business

Qualifications WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

• Three years management experience in a mass merchandising, grocery or wholesale retail business or food and hospitality business

• Previous experience leading or managing a overnight crew in a big box retailer or warehousing business

• Ability to model Wal-Mart’s three basic beliefs – respect for the individual, service to the customers and striving for excellence

• Displays sound integrity even in difficult circumstances

• Track record of exceptional customer service focus

• Proven leader of people – able to motivate and develop through honest and open feedback

• Ability to get results in a fast-paced, change oriented, high pressure environment

• Highly organized, disciplined and able to multi-task

• Willingness to work days, evenings, nights and weekends – variable 40 hr per week retail schedule

• Permanent employment status in Canada
