Assistant Director – Grants and Contracts

 The Wildlife Conservation Society’s is seeking applications for an Assistant Director – Grants and Contracts. The Assistant Director for Grants and Contracts reports to the Director of Accounting.  This position is responsible for maintaining a centralized process to manage, monitor and report on the government and agency grant activity for the organization.  The individual will supervise several members of the grants unit. A bachelor degree in Business Administration is required, accounting major preferred. The selected candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. Must have at least two years experience with the financial management of US Government Grants and Contracts. Understanding of OMB A-110, A-122 and A-133 is required and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations a plus. Willingness to travel to developing countries which may be extensive at times. Good communication skills, written and verbal, as well as strong analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills, an ability to work well with a wide variety of people in a team setting.
