Assistant Controller / Corporate Tax
Assistant Controller / Corporate Tax
Halifax Corporation is a national enterprise maintenance solutions provider with over 30 years of serving customers technical needs. We have a need for an Assistant Controller to work in our Alexandria, VA office or work in our Mechanicsburg, PA office. Employee could reside in either location. Will report to our CFO, and will interface a great deal with our operations group.
Job Requirements:
Seeking a very strong candidate (corporation, company on stock exchange, experience helpful). Preference for someone with CPA. MUST demonstrate complete fluency with modeling, cash management, have advanced Excel skills, has ability to do significant financial analysis and ability to analyze the profitability of contracts. SEC filings (a plus). Multi-state corporate tax return experience needed. This is a hands-on position reporting to the CFO. Must demonstrate skills to run several accounting software packages. Knowledge of Access/FoxPro a plus. Additional consideration will be given to someone with SouthWare software experience.
Salary range DOE.
