ASSISTANT CONTROLLER
Birmingham area company is seeking a professional with strong general accounting background. The position requires approximately three to five years experience in closings, account reconciliations and reporting. Candidate must have a solid understanding of GAAP.  Some responsibilities include preparing & analyzing financial statements, reviewing & analyzing variances, and generating standard costs.  You will have interaction and visibility with all levels of the organization.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in accounting is required.Candidate should have 3-5++ years accounting experience. Proficient with MS ExcelStrong analytical abilities with knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, & G/L. Must possess good communication skills and organizational ability.
