Asset Manager
Asset Manager We currently have opportunities for banking asset manager professionals to join our regulatory consulting team. Individual will be responsible for coordinating the loan operations area of a commercial bank, transfer and consolidation of loans, owned real estate and asset management functions involving buyers, asset servicers or other entity. Minimum qualifications include: · Two years managerial/supervisory experience in the financial or mortgage services’ industries in the functional area(s) the Manager is assigned to manage.· Experience in policy and procedure development and implementation.· Ability to conduct training programs, internally and externally.· Broad credit background.· Keen analytical skills and be able to perform a thorough analysis of a borrower’s financial statement, whether prepared by an outside firm or by the borrower. · Manage the activities of loan workout specialists in handling 1-4 family residential loans including escrow accounts, commercial, and consumer loans and ORE. · Practical experience as a loan workout specialist and have handled a loan portfolio comprised of these types of loans. · Familiar with loan securitizations and the common contractual obligations. · Negotiate complex settlement cases and evaluate any proposals submitted to them for approval to include restructures, compromises, foreclosures, advances, write-offs and expense cases. · Four year business, accounting, or other equivalent degree or five years relevant industry or regulatory experience.· Familiar with dealing with multiple debtor lines and cross collateralization. · Knowledgeable of the laws governing and granting of credit such as Truth in lending laws, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act. · Ensure that all other assets, to include such items as repossessed automobiles and equipment, and contracts and leases, are properly disposed of.· Familiar with various loan servicing systems and the types of reports needed in working loans. · Analyze loan operations and produce reports. · Possess a good working knowledge of contract law and be familiar with the various types of contacts common in operating a bank to include, but not limited to, service and employment contracts, securitization agreements, letters of credit, revolving lines of credit, and unfunded commitments. · Ability to develop various types of management reports to include reporting on such items as contracts and leases, letters of credit, unfunded commitments, repudiations, ORE, loan compromises, restructures and write-offs. · Use common report writing software such as excel and word. · Must have experience in making, underwriting and servicing Small Business Administration (SBA) loans.· Excellent written and oral communications required.· Ability to deal and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.· Willing to travel.
