NELSON is currently seeking a talented teammate to serve as an Application Manager, Deltek Vision in our Philadelphia, PA office. The Application Manager acts independently to manage both the technical and business functions of defined corporate applications. Management of Deltek Vision includes managing the application interface, database and integration with other applications and functions.

Essential duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions):

Manage Deltek Vision daily operations including maintenance and service assurance.

Coordinate and manage all Deltek Vision improvement initiatives including planning, budgeting, staffing and progress reporting.

Budgeting, staffing, project management and reporting of all initiatives.

Monitor and prioritize projects and requests to ensure that tasks are completed appropriately.

Coordinate with various business groups to identify performance of corporate applications and synthesize requirements into a project with associated project monitoring and planning components.

Coordinate vendor and internal contributions for day to day and improvement initiatives.

Implement, maintain and improve existing and new Deltek Vision modules.

Minimum Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Four year degree required; 5 years of experience managing and developing applications.
Experience with Internet based applications and associated coding languages and protocols. (ASP, ASP.net, PHP, SQL, Flash, html, http, https)
Experience with Deltek Vision application preferred.
Understanding of accounting concepts, web and database server administration.
Experience with data security and encryption.
Ability to manage requests and prioritization.
Strong project and vendor management skills.
