Includes claims systems utilization, capacity analyses/planning and reporting. Includes claims-related business and systems analysis. Ensures data integrity, data security and process optimization. Primary Responsibilities: Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise. Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise. Investigates non-standard requests and problems through analysis and investigation, with some assistance from others. Works exclusively within a specific knowledge area . Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines. Qualifications: 3 years of experience processing claims or a strong knowledge of claims systems required Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required High school diploma required Prior Medicaid and Managed Care experience is strongly preferred Strong computer skills Strong analytical written/verbal and interpersonal skills Claims accounting or actuarial experience a plus Provides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise.
