Administrative Assistant - Private Wealth Management Firm- $45 - 50K
Advantage Human Resourcing is currently looking for a bright, energetic and friendly Administrative Assistant to support a busy and highly successful Private Wealth Management office of a major investment firm. This is a full-time/permanent position offering a competitive salary, OT pay and benefits including Health, Dental, Vision and $401k.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Reservation booking for conference rooms, dinner, lunch, interviews, visitors, etc.
• Presentation support—copying, binding, and light PowerPoint editing
• Correspondence
• Ordering Supplies
• Backup phone coverage on floor or at switchboard
• General clerical duties for the floor
• Liaison between PWM offices throughout the country, Compliance, Operations, NY
• Coordinate and Schedule office events
• Coordinate Travel and Transportation
• Maintain calendar schedules
• Travel & transportation reservations
• Mailings
• Research Mailing set up and maintenance
Experience/Skills:
• A minimum of 3 years work experience is required; financial industry experience is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Ideal candidate is confident, energetic, positive, focused, dependable, proactive, independent, resourceful and creative, and someone who has a “can do” attitude and works well with a team.
• Ideal candidate possesses a real desire to learn the business and to contribute broadly to the team’s efforts
• Must be highly reliable, extremely professional and able to interact with all levels of employees
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully with others to accomplish an objective.
• Sense of professionalism and confidentiality important.
• Technical Skills: MUST possess highly proficient MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
