Administrative Assistant - Bookkeeper
Thomas S. Monterosso CPA, P.C. is a highly functional, dynamic accounting office in Milford, CT. We offer meaningful and challenging work as well as a pleasant office environment in a quaint business area within walking distance to the train. We’re looking for a smart, confident, experienced, organized and hard-working professional to support our busy and energetic firm. The right person for this opportunity is someone who is creative, assertive and exceptionally detail oriented; who is a trustworthy, articulate self-starter, with strong problem solving and analytical skills. We need a strategic thinker with the ability to multi-task, good follow-up and has a “positive” attitude. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years working experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and QuickBooks. Experience in the following is a plus: • General office duties, including filing and data entry • Office management and file organization • Accounts receivable • Accounts payable • Bank reconciliations • Preparation of quarterly payroll tax returns • Preparation of Sales and Use tax returns • Preparation of W-2’s and W-3’s • Client billing Qualified candidates please submit a detailed resume stating your proficiency in each of the aforementioned programs, a list of references and salary range.
