Admin Aid/Finance Department

The Salvation Army, ARC Command, is looking for someone to fill the job of Administrative Assistant to the Director of Finance.  The ideal candidate for this position will have two (2) years of college or a Business Technical School Certificate with a minimum of two (2) years of office experience (Accounting office experience would be helpful).  This person must be familiar with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Access with a demonstrated ability to create correspondence and maintain spreadsheets.  Typing speed should be 55 to 60 WPM, must score at least 90% on Spelling and Grammar and be able to operate a 10-key calculator by touch.  Knowledge of basic accounting principles would be a real plus. 

The person in this job will be asked to perform a variety of directed functions for the ARC Command Finance Department including processing all Finance Council business, preparing and processing various reports, creating and maintaining numerous spreadsheets, handling general correspondence, handling petty cash, and preparing Internal Audit and Review material.
