We are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team.  This person would be responsible for cash application process for Mass Market and large volume accounts as well as any other account as requested by management. Assist A/R Supervisor as needed. 

 

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 Administrative support to A/R Supervisor and Sr. National Credit Manager.Assist in the transferring of money from unprocessed cash to correct Dealer accounts.Apply checks Mass Market and Electronic Imaging accounts, large volume Specialty and sport Optics accounts and any other accounts as needed.Make appropriate adjustments to accounts as needed.Identify and prepare chargebacks. Research and follow-up on chargebacks.Generate e-mailed statements, ensure accuracy and provide to those customers requesting them.Keep organized records, calculate discounts, file and transfer monies between accounts.Make copies and keep records of live checks, send to bank or give to cash control for deposit as needed.Apply debits and credits to accounts.Correspond with accounts, Credit Managers and Sales Representatives for remittance information, chargeback back-up and account reconciliation.Assist A/R with daily cash reports when needed.

 

Ideal candidate should have excellent verbal, quantitative and interpersonal skills along with experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook while SAP is a plus.  Knowledge of financial statements, collections and bankruptcy laws are helpful. 3 + years administrative experience in Credit and/or A/R Department. A.A. in Accounting or Banking required.
