Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper
I.         Position Title
           Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper
 II.       Summary of Essential Functions
Responsibilities include cash receipts posting, processing of sales, monitoring of delinquent accounts, communication with membership regarding billing questions, month end receivable statement preparation, and membership tracking.
 III.      Duties and Responsibilities
1.              Process daily cash receipts.
2.              Posts charges to accounts.
3.              Prepares and mails member charges/statements.
4.              Receives and reconciles payments on accounts.
5.              Prepares all banquet function billings.
6.              Audits point of sale charges.
7.              Prepares daily sales reports.
8.              Responds to member billing inquiries.
9.              Monitors members’ minimums.
10.           Determines and sends delinquent notices.
11.           Monitors the collection of past due accounts and advises the General Manager when difficult situations may arise.
12.           Posts delinquent notices.
13.           Prepare monthly membership activity report to Membership Committee
14.           Coordinate distribution of status change letters to membership
15.           Field calls, questions and emails from perspective members and sponsors.
16.           Maintains the following records:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â member accounts including database
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â accounts receivable trial balance
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â daily, weekly and monthly receivable deposits
 IV.      Reports to
           Controller
 V.       Supervises
           No supervisory duties are included in this position.

VI.      Qualifications
v     BS/BA or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance
v     Three to five or more years experience with accounts receivable in a medium or large size country club or company
Â
VII.    Skills
v     Microsoft Office Suite Small Business or higher(Word, Excel)
v     Software knowledge in Club Tec, or comparable club systems
v     Experience with country club accounting environments a plus
