Accounts Receivable Associate

Accounts Receivable Associate This position requires a focused individual whose work is an integral part of the accounting team.  The person will work with other departments to resolve issues related to the customers’ accounts.  The ideal candidate must be able to work independently as well as within a team.  They must also possess strong interpersonal skills in order to interact and maintain relationships with customers and other departments.  The ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, to meet deadlines for new assignments and thrive in a challenging team atmosphere is important.  Excellent phone demeanor, accuracy and good organizational skills are also essential. This position will be responsible for the following: 

· Complete between 20-30 collection calls per day

· Follow-up with clients on deductions/overpayments

· Perform analysis related to customer accounts based on recurring and one-off requests

· Assist in Cash Application

· Assist in Electronic Billing

· Establish and build relationships with AP Managers and other client contacts

· Actively communicate with Sales/Client Service Team any client issues where their assistance is required

· Must have strong communication skills.

· Must have strong Excel and Word skills; experience with accounting software package is a plus We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
