Accounts Payable Supervisor -MMC Controller's- Hoboken, NJ

Job Responsibilities:
 Â·  Perform and supervise all functions of Accounts Payable area including:
- Invoice coding and input, approval verification and payment processing.
- Verifying accuracy of payments and accompanying documentation prior to forwarding to Treasury for approval.
- Vendor maintenance and monitoring of validation.
- Auditing of Employee Expense Reports. 
- Generate monthly outstanding file for Bank reconciliation preparation. 
- Process monthly Accounts Payable close activity.
- Providing service to customers in compliance with MMC procedures including handling customer correspondence, complaints, and inquiries, especially on the executive level
·  Markview Processing
- Perform and monitor coding, review and approval of MGTI related invoices.
- Research and oversee handling of correspondence and inquires related to the processing of the Infrastructure invoices.
- Validate approval levels for MGTI personnel.
 
· Oversee Accounts Payable staff and temps.
 
· Maintain 1099 vendors and Review of 1099 tape for State and Federal filing.
 
· System maintenance and implementation of upgrades.
 
· Prepare SOX Compliance assessments.
 
· Assist in research and preparation of recurring and special projects.
Qualifications:
 
· Undergraduate degree in Accounting with three to five years experience working in a public or private accounting environment.
 Â· Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word, Lotus Notes/123 and Oracle Payables applications or similar Accounts Payable packages.
· Good time management skills, able to prioritize.
   Â· Flexibility to function as part of a team as well as working independently.
   Â· Good communication skills, able to multi-task.
