Accounts Payable Specialist I
Multi-tasking accounts payable specialist needed for busy, growing manufacturing company in Bristol, RI. See our corporate information at www.Displays2go.com. We're seeking a dependable, reliable candidate with a proven track record in A/P. Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:Key sourced vouchers and general expense invoices Key received vouchers reviewed by AP Coordinator Organize invoices by due date Identify and track discounts Communicate with vendors and research vendor payment issues Maintain Vendor Credit worksheet and create monthly report Notify various dept. of overdue vendor credits Scanned paid invoices and maintain data base of vendor invoices Organize invoices for pre-check run to be reviewed by AP Coordinator Daily runs to local post office (Must have own transportation) Clear A/R credit memos Assist A/R specialist in pulling prepaid orders and updating prepaid order log Back up for Invoicing Specialist - invoice as needed for vacation coverage
Previous position(s) in a manufacturing envrionment a Plus! Experience with Excel and Accounts Payable is required. This is an extremely busy, detailed, paperwork, and spreadsheet tracking position.
