Accounts Payable Associate

The AP Associate supports the Accounting Department in completing the full cycle of Accounts Payable in a timely manner. He/she will also handle vendor inquiries, and provide administrative assistance; which includes ordering supplies, distributing mails, and researching transactions for Programs.

Responsibilities:

Records vendor invoices into Oracle Payables, processes wire transfers to vendors; researches outstanding invoices with various vendors; handles petty cash; and supports the Accounting Department with filing (vendor files), and distribution of mails.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or equivalent level of education.

Prior experience with accounting system, Excel and Word.  Strong communication and organization skills.

Familiarity with non-profit accounting and Oracle Financials.
