Accounting position
Statewide professional association located in Harrisburg, PA seeks a dependable fulltime accountant. This position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and/or equivalent work experience. Consistent work ethic, detail orientation and solid organizational skills are required. Candidate should possess ability to work within established procedures and deadlines and be able to prioritize work accordingly. General experience with technology is also required, including usage of a computerized accounting system and standard desktop applications (Outlook, WORD, EXCEL).

This person will be responsible for accounts receivable and special projects assigned by the Controller. Duties include billings, reviewing invoicing for proper footing, coding and approval, making bank deposits, reconciling bank statements and producing relevant monthly reports. This position will also oversee quarterly billings to clients including administrative fee charges and dues from clients and will assist the Controller with budget and financial statement preparation.
