Job Description:
• Analytics (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) –i.e., forecast and actual variances, key business activities and status impacting forecasts, key manufacturing and R&D variances, consistent maintenance of Bridges, etc.
•Ensuring consistent communication and actions for accurate books and records of the organization. Develop control processes for key spending & process areas
•Own the model for competitive analysis: build and maintain quarterly financial comparison models between POC and our competitors (Roche, Abbot, etc). Provide incisive analysis on key trends in marketplace.
•Defining role in Monthly, Quarterly, Annual (Forecasts, Actuals, Budgets) Process, Coordination, Follow-through
•Perform complex financial analyses including compilation and review of financial plans and budgets, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures and estimated income and expenses. Carry out financial analysis at multiple complexity levels including rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, budgeting, cost analysis, bid, job analysis and financial and expense performance comparisons. Also includes Sensitivity Analysis.
•Independently research, acquire expertise, and develop solutions for advanced business problems and issues. Identify key barriers/core problems and apply problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with most situations. •Consistently practice Risk Management and monitor the effectiveness of internal controls and provide recommendations.
•Interpret and implement accounting policies and procedures that conform to IFRS and internal policy.
•Identify and implement necessary systems and/or process changes and improvements.
