Accounting/Treasury Manager
Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority of Harris County is seeking an experienced Accounting/Treasury Manager. The Accounting/Treasury Manager is responsible for applying the principles of accounting and statistical analysis to maintain the agency’s general accounting system and financial reporting. This person is responsible for supervising the accounting staff in preparation of the financial reports and general ledger accounting function of the Agency and ensuring the accuracy of  the financial statement for the current month and year-to-date operations, as well as for monitoring the cash flow requirements for the Agency on a day-to-day basis. This position works under minimal director with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Hires, trains and manages staff.

Requirements: Three plus years progressive experience in accounting, including supervisory experience. Must have Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field from accredited four-year college or university. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or certification in progress required. Accounting experience in Government, hospital or public sector a plus. Â

Salary Range: $70 – 80K
