Accounting Senior / Supervisor

AAMP of America (www.aampofamerica.com) is a global leader in the development, manufacturing and distribution of consumer electronic accessories.  We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to work as an Accounting Senior/Supervisor at our Corporate Headquarters in Clearwater, FL.  Candidate will be expected to use specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to assist with the maintenance, reconciliation, review and analysis of a diverse array of Accounting and Finance functions.

 Requirements

  A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Between two and five years Accounting experience Must have excellent computer and technical skills, especially Excel, and proficiency using various software systems Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to lead people and get results through others An ability to proactively create and implement process improvements Experience making credit decisions and collections calls

 Responsibilities

  Reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare analyses, and complete other monthly general ledger closing procedures Oversee Credit Department policies and procedures, including making credit decisions and collection calls Supervise and review Accounts Payable function and staff Provide insightful recommendations with regard to enhancing current policies and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy in processing or analyzing financial information Compile and review data requested for special projects, including analyzing the information and suggesting recommendations. Assist with the external audit preparation and respond to audit issues and problems
