We are specifically looking for relevant industry experience in the Engineering field, a friendly personality, and the right technical skills! If you are interested, please apply right away! We want this position filled ASAP! Overview: The Project Administrator is responsible for minimizing risk by processing transactions within the project system on behalf of the project manager. This would include setting up or modifying the project billing information in accordance with contracts, transferring WIP between tasks, processing WIP write-offs, invoicing in accordance with the contract agreements, and closing projects and tasks. Responsibilities: • Ensuring contract interpretation for correct contract type, rates, expense mark ups and work breakdown structure are properly input into Oracle financial system. • Project and financial cost analysis. • Preparation of contract invoices, WIP write offs and other project related transactions in accordance with company policy. • Assist Project Managers with any project issues requiring accounting adjustments. • Process project closures. Qualifications: • Requires minimum 3 years of project accounting and contract experience. • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. • Ability to interface with Managers and clients. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Problem solving skills and ability to meet established deadlines. • Computer literacy with spreadsheet experience. • Oracle experience preferred but not required. • Bachelors in Accounting degree preferred or AA Degree in Accounting Please submit resume in word document, and also a brief paragraph describing your Accounting background in Engineering.
