Job DescriptionReconciling and maintaining all balance sheet accounts Ensure financial statements are prepared in a timely and accurate manner (monthly close) Ensures accounting conforms to generally accepted accounting principles. Oversees all accounting functions including, A/P, A/R, Payroll, General Ledger, Collections, etc. Maintains controls for all cash, inventories and assets Lends financial perspective to business issues facing operations Analyzes financial statements for areas of profit improvement, recommends action Coordinates Information Technology within the businessEnsures data provided business owner is accurate and timely Provides quarterly forecasts Interacts with external auditors

RequirementsBachelor’s degree (Business: Accounting, Finance)or combination of equivalent degree and experience CPA PreferredWorking knowledge of computer programs Excel, Pick, Microsoft OutlookMinimum of 2 years accounting experience Ability to track and measure financial data and communicate information up and down
