Job Description: Working closely with various areas of the company and external consultants, you will clearly explain the consolidated IFRS/GAAP/Statutory/UOP results while facilitating a strong and effective internal control environment and ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. In addition, the company will rely on you to: Serve as an effective team leader and role modelAnticipate breakdowns and act to minimize impactPrioritize and delegate projects/workloadCommit to the attainment of a top-tier internal control environmentDevelop, maintain, and provide internal control trainingProvide expertise to division or team projects As the successful candidate, you will meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance7 or more years of related experienceStrong understanding of Accounting Guidance IFRS, GAAP, Statutory Reporting, and the life insurance industryExcellent management, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, communication and technical skillsKnowledge of actuarial concepts, LOMA and advanced degree, CPA, CFA or other professional designation is preferredPrevious investment and derivative accounting experience in a corporate environment Please submit a copy of your Word resume to rami.muhanna@parkerlynch.com for immediate consideration.
