Accounting Manager, Investment Banking

International Investment Banking firm that has operations in Atlanta, has an immediate need for a Real Estate Fund Manager. This position reports to a Vice President and the position is responsible for the overall accounting, reporting and operations for global private equity real estate funds and affiliated funds. The responsibilities of this position are diverse and challenging and consist of but are not limited to: directly managing analysts/associates in the day to day operations as well as managing special projects which includes re engineering processes and system implementations; overseeing the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes; coordinating audit processes and addressing/resolving inquiries from external auditors; preparing and presenting financial data analyses based on requests from business units which includes revenue projections and deal cash flows; overseeing fee calculations; overseeing IT initiatives; etc.

The ideal candidate for this position has a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; is well organized, detailed individual with 5-10 years of relevant work experience (audit, financial analysis); CPA or CPA track is preferred; Real State partnership accounting and reporting experience is a plus; strong accounting and analytical skills is a must. Candidates for this position must be motivated and goal oriented with previous experience managing staff.
