 Accounting/HR Manager

Accounting (must be able to do all functions below in Quickbooks):Handle all A/P, including paying domestic and international vendors (via check, PayPal & wire transfers) and auditing employee expense reports. Handle all A/R. Work with Sales and Network team in managing A/R, generate invoices and reports, record and make deposits.Process payroll via Paychex and enter payroll journal entries. File DE 542’s & 1099’s. Reconcile bank statements.Generate financial reports and work with Principals re financial forecasting and cash flow. Interface with CPA re tax returns and other relevant matters.

HR, Risk Management & Legal:Conduct new hire orientations and annual employee reviews.Manage and maintain all new-hire/termination paperwork, written evaluations/notices, Personnel files, PTO tracking, notifying employees regarding benefits, distributing and updating employee handbook. Manage and maintain benefit paperwork for 401k, health insurance, H.S.A accounts & Workman’s Compensation. Research and implement new benefits as requested by Principals.  Manage and maintain records and contracts with independent contractors. Interface w/ Principals & legal counsel re corporate docs, convertible notes, stock offers & purchases. Manage and maintain paperwork re same.Manage and maintain records of insurance policies and renewals. Work with Principals in implementing new policies as needed, make recommendations regarding same.Â

Candidate Description:BS degree. Preferably Accounting/Finance focus. 5 + years accounting experience with a small or medium size. Â
·        Excellent computer skills ( Excel, Quickbooks) and use of software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and/or word processing required.
·        Strong oral and written communication skills
·        High degree of dedication and initiative – seeks to enhance knowledge and skills; Strong problem solving and organizational skills
·        Friendly, upbeat, and high energy team player; time management and ability to multi-task; strong attention to detail and accuracy               Â
·         Willing to work co-operatively in a small office environment
